Here at
Southfork we are ready to put the winter behind us and we are looking forward
to the start of the season and the Easter holidays. Our new static caravan holiday homes are
on-site and we can't wait to welcome the first guests over Easter. Our new online booking service is now live so you can now check availability and book via our website.
Somerset is
a beautiful part of the country to visit at any time of year, but Springtime is
a particularly lovely time to visit. We
are lucky to have a relatively mild climate in the South West of England (apart
from the occasional visit from ‘The Beast from the East’) so we are looking
forward to the longer, warmer days of spring.
There are
plenty of local events nearby to keep you busy over the Easter holidays. If you fancy getting out and about there is a
great Spring Trail at the nearby Yeovil Country Park on 4th April – arrive at the park between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm to find the missing letters to
make the secret word and kids can claim a chocolate treat.
For horse
lovers and race enthusiasts there is a special ‘Celebration of the Horse’
raceday at Wincanton Racecourse on 3rd April – there will be the chance
to see former champion race-horses, watch show jumping displays and of course,

The Yeovil
Railway Centre will be holding special Easter open days on 1st and 2nd
April. With an Easter Egg hunt for the
kids and steam train rides and the miniature railway – there is plenty of fun

The spring
is a wonderful time to visit some of the beautiful local gardens, Herstercombe House have Easter
themed craft, an Easter egg hunt for the kids and a delicious sounding Easter

Don’t forget,
if you have not yet booked your caravan or motorhome in for a service – now is
the time to do that. Our approved workshop offers a full service and habitation check – We’ll even do a wash and
wax to get your caravan or motorhome looking it's best for Spring! We also have a great range of parts
