Located in Taunton's historic Castle and right in the centre of Taunton is the Museum of Somerset. From prehistoric times to the present day, the Museum tells the fascinating story of the county. Alongside the museum are contemporary gallery spaces with changing exhibitions, a shop and cafe.
With an amazing nine themed galleries, each with its own distinctive character, there’s something for everyone to discover. The Museum is also home to Somerset Military Museum.
