As high summer approaches, the list of local events gets ever longer.    Here are some of our favourite events nearby, coming up in the next few weeks...

The springtime is a great time of year for camping and we love getting out in the fresh air when the spring flowers are out and the weather starts to warm up.  Winter was slow to leave us this year so spring was off to a bit of a slow start – and then it was, briefly, summer!   If you weren’t lucky enough to have taken advantage of the recent hot weather and are planning a camping trip over the coming Early May Bank holiday - have a look at our top tips below for getting your camp on this Spring. 

Here at Southfork we are ready to put the winter behind us and we are looking forward to the start of the season and the Easter holidays.  Our new static caravan holiday homes are on-site and we can't wait to welcome the first guests over Easter.   

We have been busy over the winter setting up a new wildlife area on the site and thought we would give you an early view…

We have been very busy on the park this year, getting ready for the new camping season.  We are very lucky here in Somerset that we benefit from mild winters and early springs and we can't wait for the new season to start properly!

Our rural, family run campsite in Somerset has a range of options available for your stay, from our glamping pod to grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans.  Our current static caravans are also extremely popular holiday homes and have been on site for some years now.  So, we thought they could do with an upgrade! 

Winter is not normally a time you immediately associate with caravanning but many sites (including our own) are open throughout the year – so why not make more use of your caravan or motorhome through the winter season.

For many of us, October Half Term represents the last opportunity of the year for camping.  Somerset is a beautiful county to visit all year round, but the Autumn is a particularly lovely time of year here.
