It’s easy to think that summer is over and pack the camping gear away once the kids go back to school and the nights start to draw in but, September is still a great month for camping...

The next Yandles Woodworking and Craft Show is coming up on 8th and 9th September.  Held twice a year, this popular show is a must see event for any woodworking and craft enthusiasts with 1000’s visiting from across the country over the 2 day event.   

Being situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels, close to the River Parrett, we are ideally positioned as a camping base for those wanting to take advantage of the excellent fishing opportunities in the area.

Following the success of the recent Triumph area meeting which was held at Southfork Caravan a couple of weeks ago, we are now looking forward towards the summer and to the next big event.  

Spring has definitely arrived in Somerset and the park is coming to life with colour. We have lots of exciting events coming up in the summer – The annual Retro Fundraiser is always popular and, as the official campsite for the event, pitches are filing up – we do still have some space available though so get in touch soon to secure your pitch.

Somerset is a great county for cyclists and there are many routes designed to allow you to explore this unique part of rural England. Visitsouthsomerset.com have put together a guide for a great 80 miles cycle route around South Somerset which can be completed in 8 easy stages and offers the chance to explore the area at a leisurely pace.      

Back again for the fifth year running, the wonderful Retro Fundraising event is being held in Martock on 2nd July 2017.  As with previous years, Southfork Caravan and Camping Park is pleased to be the official camp site for the event.

The Yandles, annual Woodworking Show and Sale is being held on 7th and 8th April this year, Nr Mattock in Somerset. 

With the start of the meteorological spring, things are starting to come alive on the park and we are looking forward to longer days, better weather and the start of the new camping season.  The Easter Holidays are the first chance many of us have to get away in the Spring and we are taking bookings now for the glamping pod, touring and camping pitches and static caravans.

Come and Join us for the Triumph Sport Six Club's South West Somerset Gathering at Southfork Caravan Park in Martock on 3rd and 4th June.  This is a brand new event set up by the Somerset Area of the TSSC
